Our work in the Gulf
[YOUR HISTORY IN THE REGION — e.g. "We have supplied Noritsu and Fujifilm equipment and parts to labs in Dubai and Sharjah since [YEAR]." Mention dealers or labs you worked with, with their permission.]
Photo labs, studios and print shops across the Gulf run many of the same Noritsu, Fujifilm and Epson systems we have worked on for years. Keeping them running often comes down to finding the right part and getting an accurate diagnosis quickly — both of which we can do from Canada.
Heat, dust and your equipment
Gulf conditions are hard on printing equipment. Before installation, plan for:
- Air-conditioned, dust-controlled rooms. Inkjet heads, laser exposure units and paper transport sensors are all sensitive to heat and fine dust.
- Stable humidity. Very dry air causes static on media; condensation after AC shutdowns can damage electronics.
- Regular filter and cleaning cycles, shorter than the manufacturer's standard schedule in dusty locations.
We include basic site-preparation advice with every machine we ship to the region.
Import documents
We prepare the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, and work with your clearing agent. Some products shipped to Saudi Arabia require a SABER conformity certificate before customs clearance — ask us early so it doesn't delay your shipment. Deliveries to free zones are possible when the consignee details are confirmed in advance.
Questions from UAE & Gulf
Do you have technicians in the UAE or Saudi Arabia?
Not currently. We diagnose remotely from error codes, photos and video, then guide your own technician or a local engineer through the repair and supply the parts. We will tell you honestly if a fault needs hands-on work we can't support remotely.
Can you ship to a free zone such as Jebel Ali?
Yes, provided the consignee and free-zone details are confirmed before shipping, so the documents are prepared correctly.
Which currencies can I pay in?
[PAYMENT CURRENCIES AND METHODS, e.g. "USD or CAD by bank transfer."]
Will a machine from Canada work on Gulf power?
Most professional equipment can be set up for 230–240V. Saudi Arabia uses 60Hz like Canada; the other Gulf countries use 50Hz, which some motors and heaters must be configured for. We confirm this for your exact model before shipping.
