Terms & conditions
The terms that apply to quotes, sales and services from Spectrum Colors.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to quotes, equipment and parts sales, and services provided by Spectrum Colors ("we", "us"). A written quote or invoice may include additional terms, which take priority for that order.
2. Quotes and prices
Quotes are valid for [14] days unless stated otherwise. Prices are in the currency shown on the quote and exclude taxes, duties and freight unless stated. Listings on this website are invitations to enquire, not binding offers, and may change or be withdrawn at any time.
3. Orders and payment
An order is confirmed when we accept it in writing and receive any required deposit. [Payment terms, e.g. "Equipment requires a [45]% deposit, with the balance due before shipping."] Ownership passes to you when full payment is received.
4. Condition and descriptions
We describe used equipment honestly and to the best of our knowledge, including anything not yet tested. Manufacturer specifications describe the model, not the condition of an individual unit. Please ask questions before you buy.
5. Delivery and risk
Delivery terms and timing are set out in your quote. Risk passes to you when the goods are collected or handed to the carrier, unless agreed otherwise. See Shipping & Export.

7. Services
Service work is quoted before it starts. Diagnosis may be chargeable even if you decide not to proceed with a repair. Parts removed during a repair become our property unless you ask to keep them.
8. Buying your equipment
Valuations are free and without obligation. Submitting machine details does not create a commitment by either party. A purchase is confirmed only by written agreement after technical and commercial evaluation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or production. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
